T-Maxx Hop-ups
Here are some of the pics of my newest Parma Dodge Ram Ext. Cab body. It's not the same orange body as the one on the My Trucks page. That one was destroied. The body has a Tamiya ClodBuster Rollbar, Ram headlights(with custom mounts), Ram Tamiya Rollbar lights(with custom modification), custom made battery and switch holder, custom made grill, small pivit ball used as a trailer ball, and R/C Neon neon antenna. The resent upgrades to the truck are Traxxas Stainless Steel hinge pins, Trinity 45wt. Silicon shock oil, and RPM orange antenna tube. Some possible future upgrades are going to be custom made winch, tail/stop lights, and custom fog lights.
These next few pics are of my new RockHoundz Skid Plates, Rix Gear Lower Braces, and Cirrus Steering Servo. Check out there websites for other great parts. The skids and lower braces will really add a lot of rigidness to the truck. The steering servo is a great upgrade because it has more torque than the stock servo. If you are running bigger tires it will turn them better.
Here are a couple pics of the new RC10GT pipe I installed on my Maxx. The stock pipe fell apart after a cleaning. I will give my thoughts on the new pipe after I get a chance to run it.
These next few pics are of my rebiult TRX Pro .15. It also has a few new parts like a PowerLine Head and Robinson Racing Products (RRP) Flywheel. The Powerline Head has more fins than the stock unit and provides more cooling. The RRP Flywheel is vented and also allows for more cooling by drawing the heat away from the motor. Neither of these have been run yet as the motor needs to broke in. As soon as it's done and I get to do some running I will post my thoughts on them both.
Well after the fresh TRX died I went lookin for a new motor. After about 5 months of not having a motor in the Maxx I found the one I wanted. I actually found it long before that but it was out of stock every where. The new MegaTech M-16 1HP T-Maxx drop in is what I went after. I read as much as I could about it on MaxxTraxx from people that already had them. The info I had got was promising so I went for it. And now I'm glad I did. The power this thing has is awsome. It will pull a wheely standing still with stock gearing. Some other things I got to go along with this new motor are a Motor Savers airfilter and an MIP Temp II gauge. This combo worked good and brought me home a 2nd place trophy. Check out the Race Season page for info on the lastest races. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions.
Here are a few pics of my Sway Bar setup on my Maxx. It is made out of 3/32 inch wire. Well here are a few pics.
These are the pics of my new Pro-Line Hummer and IMex Baja tires and Outlaw rims. The Hummer is painted Pactra Racing Red and Indy Silver. These are Team PKW's colors. This was my first two tone paint job, but I think it can out pretty well. I also cut out the hood and front end air intakes and put grills in them. The IMex Baja's do pretty good in the dirt but get kinda squarly on the blacktop, even with the Trinity low roll foams. Well here are a few pics.
Here are a few more pics of the Hummer body and some pics of the air filter extension, Remote Glo plug wire, and MIP Temp gauge.
