Residential Rates

Standard Monthly Residential Rate is $39.95. There is no tax charged for monthly residential service. This includes a standard Private IP that is assigned at installation. If a Public IP is required, an additional $6.95 will be added to your monthly bill, taking the total price up to $46.90.

Commercial Rate

Standard Monthly Commercial Rate is $39.95 + tax.

Site Survey

Free. Our technicians will gladly come and assess availability of service free of charge.

Service Calls

Note: New changes to our Service Call Fee and Equipment Upgrade policy went into effect April 18, 2016. Original changes to our Service Call Fee policy were effected on June 1, 2012.

-If a customer has issues that cannot be resolved by phone and JB-Nets is required to provide a service call to the customer's location, a $10.00 service call fee will be charged.

-If the issue is due to equipment failure, and the equipment is not covered under warranty, additional charges may apply.

Equipment is not covered under warranty if (a) the warranty period has expired, (b) damage is due to an act of God or circumstances outside JB-Nets control, or (c) damage is due to customer's unauthorized action, misuse, or negligence.

-If a customer initiates a cancellation or rescheduling of a service call within 30 minutes of the original scheduled service call time, a $10.00 charge will be added to that customer's account.

-If a customer fails to show for a scheduled service call, a $10.00 trip fee will accrue on that customer's account. Technicians will wait 15 minutes past scheduled time before a customer is deemed as a no-show.

-Equipment Upgrades must be initiated by the Account Holder. Any cost for an Equipment Upgrade will either be (a) prepaid at the time of scheduling, or (b) due at the scheduled time of upgrade. For unexpected equipment expenses that accrue while technicians are on site, a minimum down payment fee of $20.00 will be required. This is to help ensure JB-Nets, LLC Billing & Accounting that a customer is aware of the pending charge. The remaining balance must be paid within 30 days of receiving billed invoice. Late Fees

A Late Fee of $10.00 is assessed if payment is not received on, or at least postmarked, by the due date given. Monthly Internet rate payments are given a grace period to the 5th of each month before a late fee accrues.

For Example:

Monthly payment is due by the 1st of every month. If payment is not received by the 5th of the month in which it is due, a late fee will be assessed.

Service Interruption Fee

A $25.00 Service Interruption Fee will be assessed if service has been interrupted due to nonpayment. This fee may also be assessed to an account suspended by request (given at our Billing and Account Department's discretion.)

Comprehensive Equipment Coverage Plan

Effective January 1, 2014 customers will be able to enroll in JB-Nets Comprehensive Equipment Coverage Plan. Preexisting customers are only able to openly enroll in this plan from January 1, 2014 thru February 28, 2014. After this enrollment period ends, you will need to contact our office to determine your eligibility for enrollment (decision is subject to an account assessment and an assessment of equipment on each installed coverage site).

What will this equipment coverage plan cover for me?

This plan will cover the replacement of any and all defective components of your Internet installation required to restore your Internet connectivity to JB-Nets. These components are: outside radio, all wiring and wiring connections (interior & exterior), POE (Power Over Ethernet) device, and basic wireless router (if installed) at your premises. You will not be responsible for any equipment and/or labor cost and the $10.00 standard service call charge will be waived. (This plan excludes non-equipment related bandwidth capacity issues and wireless upgrades at customer's discretion.)

What will the coverage plan cost me?

The cost of this Comprehensive Equipment Coverage Plan will be $9.95 + tax per month (for each installed coverage site.) This additional charge will be added to your monthly internet service statement for as long as the coverage is active.

Would I be able to cancel coverage?

Yes, you can cancel your coverage at anytime. However, any equipment that has been replaced during your equipment coverage plan is no longer warranted. This means that if equipment fails at any time after discontinuation of this plan, you must pay full price for all replacement equipment. Also, before coverage is reinstated there will be an account assessment and a coverage site assessment. If replacement of any existing installation site components is required due to malfunction, obsolescence, or normal wear and tear customer will be required to pay for necessary replacement cost before continuing coverage.

So what will the plan save me if, for example, my radio is damaged by a lightning strike?

If you have enrolled in the equipment coverage plan, you will get a new radio delivered and installed at no charge to you. However, if you choose not to enroll in the plan, with our currently established rates, your charges would consist of: $10.00 Service call fee + $ 89.00 Radio Replacement + tax, for a total of $106.18 due at the time of replacement.
